Job summary

UNAVAILABLE is seeking a Test Technician to lead and perform inspection, testing, troubleshooting, maintenance, repair, and start-up of low and medium voltage electrical distribution equipment in field and shop environments. Travel nationwide and internationally as needed, with emphasis on safety and quality.

Responsibilities include coordinating projects, testing cables, transformers, switchgear, relays, and MCCs, maintaining documentation, and mentoring juniors.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years of electrical experience with High School Diploma/GED.
• Experience with testing low and medium voltage equipment and protective relays.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, lead, and support projects onsite and in-house; manage documentation from order to invoice.
• Test low and medium voltage cables, transformers, switchgear, breakers, relays, and other electrical apparatus.
• Contain material costs by eliminating waste and implementing controls.
• Rotate on-call duty and respond to customer emergencies as needed.
• Promote continuous improvement and teamwork.
