Job summary

G&W Electric Co. is seeking an Electrical Tester I for a 2:00pm to 10:30pm shift. The role involves performing repetitive electrical testing and preparation on basic complexity tasks, with emphasis on safety and quality documentation.

Ideal candidates have a High School diploma or GED and up to one year of manufacturing experience. Candidates should read drawings, use hand and power tools, and have basic computer skills.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 0–1 year manufacturing experience preferred.
• Ability to safely use small hand and power tools.
• Ability to read drawings and Bills of Materials.
• Basic computer skills sufficient for data entry.
• Ability to read and understand English instructions.

Responsibilities

• Visually inspect product before testing for conformance.
• Inspect testing equipment and booth for proper operation.
• Prepare product for test by making required connections.
• Separate non-conforming parts from good parts.
• Document actions in production and quality forms.
• Maintain a safe, clean work environment per procedures.
• Conserve resources by careful use of equipment and supplies.
• Assist and train others in testing tasks as needed.
• Inspect all work to ensure it meets requirements before next operation.
