Job summary

Jabil is seeking an electronics tester to perform comprehensive tests on assemblies and products during the 2nd shift. You will use oscilloscopes, DMMs, and power supplies to verify functionality and quality.

The role requires reading schematics, following procedures, and documenting results with precision. Collaboration with engineering and production teams will help improve processes while maintaining safety and cleanliness.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent practical experience in electronics or related field.
• 2+ years of electronics testing in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical docs.
• Experience with common test equipment (DMM, oscilloscope, power supplies, generators).
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills for electronic assemblies.
• Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced team setting.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work the 2nd shift (3 PM – 11 PM).
• Physical ability to lift up to 25 lbs and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Conduct functional and diagnostic tests on electronic components, sub-assemblies, and finished products using test equipment.
• Perform visual inspections for defects and proper assembly according to specs and quality standards.
• Interpret and follow detailed test procedures, schematics, and blueprints.
• Document test results accurately including pass/fail status and anomalies.
• Troubleshoot failures to component level using equipment and documentation.
• Report recurring issues to engineering and quality teams for investigation.
• Calibrate and maintain test equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability.
• Collaborate with production and engineering to improve test processes and quality.
• Adhere to safety regulations and maintain a clean, organized workspace.
