Job summary

Jabil is seeking an electronics test technician to perform electrical, mechanical, and functional testing on diverse electronic assemblies. The role operates on the 2nd shift from 3 PM to 11 PM, requiring experience with oscilloscopes, DMMs, power supplies, and function generators.

You will inspect, document, and troubleshoot to ensure quality and compliance. Ideal candidates hold an Associate's degree in electronics or related field or equivalent experience, with 2+ years in electronics testing

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in electronics testing or a similar role in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation.
• Experience with common electronic test equipment (e.g., DMM, oscilloscope, power supplies, function generators).
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills for electronic assemblies.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.
• Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Physical ability to lift up to 25 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Ability to work the 2nd shift (3 PM - 11 PM) consistently.

Responsibilities

• Perform visual inspections for defects, damage, and proper assembly according to manufacturing specifications and quality standards.
• Interpret and follow detailed test procedures, schematics, and blueprints.
• Document test results accurately, including pass/fail status and anomalies.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose failures to the component level using test equipment and documentation.
• Identify and report recurring issues to engineering and quality teams for investigation.
• Calibrate and maintain test equipment to ensure accuracy.
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to improve test processes and product quality.
• Adhere to safety regulations and company policies.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
