Job summary

Our Atlanta, GA-based client seeks a Test Technician to lead inspection, testing, troubleshooting, maintenance, repair, and startup of low and medium voltage electrical distribution equipment in field and shop environments. Local and regional travel is required; international travel preferred.

Expect use of Doble, Omicron, Megger, Vanguard, and Fluke meters with schematics interpretation and strict safety adherence.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years electrical experience in distribution equipment.
• NETA/NICET certification preferred or equivalent hands-on testing experience.
• Ability to interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and manuals.

Responsibilities

• Lead and perform inspection, testing, troubleshooting, maintenance, repair, and start-up of MV electrical equipment.
• Coordinate and support projects onsite and in-house, maintain job documentation from receipt to invoice.
• Test low and medium voltage cables, transformers, switchgear, relays, and other electrical apparatus.
• Ensure safety standards (LOTO, PPE) and maintain detailed test reports.
