Job summary

CTDI is seeking an Electrical Engineer in Chester County, PA to design, build, test, and analyze hardware and software for telecom products. You will create and maintain test benches, automate tests, and document results.

The role emphasizes hands-on development and collaboration within a manufacturing and engineering environment. Ideal candidates bring 1–4 years of experience, strong test-system skills, RF/mixed-signal debugging, and proficiency in C/C++/Python, with a BS in engineering.

Qualifications

• 1–4 years of experience in engineering roles.
• Ability to build test systems and configure software for test systems.
• Experience in testing and debugging RF, analog, mixed signal ICs.
• Experience developing test instructions and procedures.
• Experience designing test systems and using test equipment.
• Strong troubleshooting and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Build, setup and maintain test and calibration systems for hand-held equipment.
• Maintain and upgrade test benches for DSL, Cable, Fiber, Wireless, Wi‑Fi testing and calibration.
• Generate engineering documents (schematics, diagnostics, flowcharts, reports).
• Develop automated test and repair capabilities.
• Develop and test C, C#, C++, Python, JTAG, CLI or LINUX applications.
