Job summary

Spectrum Control is seeking an RF Automated Test Equipment Engineer to design and implement software-based automated test systems for RF assemblies and power distribution units using object-oriented programming in C# .NET. The role supports both engineering development and production testing and requires on-site presence with occasional travel.

The position is open to a range of experience levels, with 5–10+ years often considered for senior leveling.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in EE/CE/CS or equivalent.
• 5–10+ years in RF test, test automation, embedded systems.
• Proficiency with C#/.NET and RF test equipment.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test software (C# .NET).
• Develop modular, reusable code following best practices.
• Interface software with RF test equipment using standard protocols.
• Define test requirements with cross-functional teams (engineering, production, quality).
• Create and execute automated test solutions for RF metrics (Gain, P1dB, Noise Figure, IP2/IP3).
• Document procedures and provide training and support as needed.
