CTDI in Chester County is hiring an Assistant Tech who will inspect product functions and monitor test procedures for electronic equipment. The role offers a starting pay of $18.59 per hour, working from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday to Friday.

Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma and skills in using test equipment, soldering techniques, and computer skills. The job involves troubleshooting electronic devices and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience or recent schooling in a technical field.
• Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs.
• Analytical mindset and strong problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Identify and troubleshoot issues in electronic equipment.
• Solder equipment using surface mount and thru-hole methods.
• Maintain work area and equipment in a clean condition.

Skills

Skilled in the operation of test equipment

Utilizing repair tools including oscilloscopes, voltmeters, and soldering irons

Proficient in soldering and de-soldering techniques

Comfortable working autonomously and in a team environment

Proficiency in computer skills for data entry

Education
