Job summary

RTX is seeking a Test Solutions Engineer to join our Hardware Discipline Center. You will design, build, and integrate state-of-the-art electrical test systems for defense products across their lifecycle, from development labs to production and field operations.

You will work with a multidisciplinary team to ensure test equipment meets high standards of performance and reliability, collaborating with systems, mechanical, software, and reliability engineers throughout the program lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM or related field by start date.
• Experience selecting and integrating passive/active components in analog/digital designs.
• Experience operating lab test equipment to test hardware and measure signals.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and integrate electrical test products and fixtures for complex defense systems.
• Create detailed schematics, circuit layouts, and documentation per industry standards.
• Operate and troubleshoot test equipment (oscilloscopes, analyzers, meters) to validate hardware performance.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware integration issues across development and production environments.
• Collaborate with systems, mechanical, software, and reliability engineers to deliver robust test architectures.
• Support project execution, ensuring designs meet performance, schedule, and budget goals.
