Job summary

RTX is seeking an on-site Test Solutions Engineer in Tucson, AZ to design and build state-of-the-art electrical test systems for mission-critical defense products. You will generate schematics, PCB layouts and documentation, and work across development labs, production floors, and field environments to ensure performance and reliability.

The role requires a STEM degree and hands-on experience with test equipment, circuit design, and debugging. A U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field required by start date.
• Experience selecting and integrating passive/active components in analog/digital designs.
• Experience operating lab test equipment to characterize hardware.
• Experience can come from coursework, labs, or on-the-job work.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and integrate electrical test products and fixtures for defense systems.
• Create schematics, PCB layouts and engineering documentation to standards.
• Validate hardware using oscilloscopes, analyzers, and power meters.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware integration issues across environments.
• Support full lifecycle from development labs to production and sustainment.
• Collaborate with systems, mechanical, software, and reliability engineers.
