Tetra Tech, Inc. is seeking an Electrical and Telecommunications Engineer to lead the planning, design, and delivery of electrical and telecommunications infrastructure across federal, industrial, and commercial projects.

The role requires strong technical expertise, codes knowledge, and the ability to mentor junior staff. The position supports hybrid and fully remote arrangements based on location and qualifications, with travel for project site visits.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or closely related field.
• 5+ years of progressively responsible experience in electrical and/or telecommunications design for facilities.
• Active PE license in at least one U.S. state.
• Experience designing electrical and/or telecommunications systems and preparing drawings/ specs.
• Working knowledge of NEC, NFPA, IEEE, ANSI/TIA, UFC.
• Willingness to travel 10–15% for site visits.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the design of electrical power distribution, lighting, telecommunications, and security systems for federal, industrial, and commercial projects.
• Develop construction drawings, calculations, specs, and design docs using AutoCAD and Revit.
• Prepare feasibility studies, facility assessments, design-build RFPs, and cost estimates.
• Manage design activities, schedules, budgets, and deliverables.
• Review technical work and mentor junior staff; ensure QA/QC and regulatory compliance.
• Conduct site investigations and client meetings; collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams.
