Tetra Tech, Inc. in the United States is seeking a Junior Electrical and Telecommunications Engineer to support planning, design, and delivery of electrical and telecommunications infrastructure for federal, industrial, and commercial clients.

The role pairs with licensed engineers and offers exposure to construction drawings, calculations, specs, and design documentation. This position offers a hybrid or remote work arrangement with travel to project sites, aiming to develop expertise across

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or closely related field.
1+ years in electrical and/or telecommunications design.
1+ years in DoD or government contracting.
FE certification obtained or pursued within 12 months.
Proficiency with AutoCAD and/or Revit.
Foundational understanding of electrical/telecommunications systems and standards.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Willingness to travel 10–15% of the time.
U.S. citizen.

Responsibilities

Assist design of electrical power distribution, lighting, telecom, and security systems.
Prepare construction drawings and calculations using AutoCAD and Revit.
Support system studies and equipment selection.
Apply NEC, NFPA, IEEE, ANSI/TIA, UFC under supervision.
Collaborate with project teams to meet requirements.
Participate in site investigations and client meetings.
Develop design documentation and deliverables incrementally.
