Job summary

New Era Technology is seeking a Maintenance Technician (Electrical/Mechanical) in New Albany, OH to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain industrial cooling equipment at customer sites. You will work hands-on with electrical and mechanical systems, reading schematics and performing preventive maintenance across multiple sites.

The role requires at least 2 years of hands-on experience, ability to read schematics, and 200-440V equipment familiarity.

Qualifications

• 2 years hands-on experience repairing or maintaining electrical and mechanical equipment.
• Experience troubleshooting industrial equipment such as HVAC systems, manufacturing equipment, automation systems, compressors, pumps, or generators.
• Ability to read electrical schematics.

Responsibilities

• Install, start up, and service cooling equipment.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues.
• Replace faulty parts such as motors, sensors, relays, switches, actuators, and other components.
• Perform preventive maintenance and inspections.
• Read electrical wiring diagrams and basic technical drawings.
• Test equipment and verify proper operation after repairs.
• Complete service reports after each visit.
• Provide professional customer service while working onsite.
• Travel to customer locations when needed.
