Job summary

Amentum in New Albany, Ohio is seeking an Electrical Technician II to join the operations and maintenance team. The role performs preventive maintenance on power systems, HVAC electrical components, and control/monitored equipment, reading schematics and supporting site engineering to meet electrical needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3-4 years’ electrician experience in a data center, industrial environment, hospital, manufacturing facility or equivalent.
• Ability to work in an aerial lift or scissor lift up to 30 feet or higher.
• Self-motivated with strong organizational/time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain current and future facility electrical systems.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair electrical equipment and control circuits from 24V up to 480V AC, electro-mechanical test devices, instrumentation, PLCs/ladder logic, and VFDs.
• Work near 13.8K voltage and support electrical expansion projects.
• Inspect, maintain, and repair critical infrastructure systems including servers, network equipment, PLCs, SCADA, and access control.
• Provide daily assistance reading blueprints/schematics/ladder logic and conducting system tours to assess operation.
