Job summary

Amentum is seeking an Electrician II (Server Floor Technician) to join our Fort Wayne, Indiana data center operations and maintenance team. You will respond to work orders, troubleshoot, and repair fixtures and systems with intermediate expertise.

Responsibilities include maintaining electrical systems up to 480V, supporting control circuits, ensuring safety, performing preventive maintenance, and documenting work in CMMS.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2-3 years’ electrician experience in a data center or industrial setting.
• Ability to work in an aerial lift or scissor lift up to 30 feet.
• Strong organizational/time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain current and future facility electrical systems.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair electrical equipment and control circuits from 24V to 480V AC, PLCs/Ladder logic, and VFDs.
• Work around 13.8kV and support electrical expansion projects.
• Adhere to NFPA70e and applicable electrical codes while documenting activities in CMMS.
