TDIndustries is seeking a Building Technician II to independently operate, monitor, and maintain key building systems in Texas. The role involves troubleshooting mechanical and electrical components in line with SOPs and safety guidelines.

This intermediate position requires 3–5 years of electrical experience, a current journeyman license, and a technical degree is preferred. You will respond to service requests, document readings, and collaborate with a skilled team to meet facility goals.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Technical degree in related field preferred.
  • 3–5 years of electrical experience required.
  • Current journeyman electrical license required.

Responsibilities

  • Responds to Facility Service Work Orders from building occupants, including lighting and electrical service calls.
  • Diagnoses building management/energy management systems for faults and errors.
  • Collaborates with fellow technicians to maintain and repair mechanical, electrical, and lighting systems; interprets blueprints and schematic drawings for accurate troubleshooting and repairs.
  • Completes all required paperwork timely and accurately; takes readings from nominal equipment and logs them.
  • Uses standard issue tools and keeps work areas clean and orderly; follows safety policies and uses PPE.
  • Observes and complies with all company safety policies and satisfies all work requests.
  • Works on and completes all facility team-based goals.
