Overview

Join AZAD Technology Partners as an Electrical Engineer and perform electrical engineering design services for multiple complex high voltage substation projects. You will work closely with assigned Project Managers, Real Property Services, the Construction Acquisition Team, Environmental and Cultural Resources, and other representatives from a wide variety of organizations. This position may also provide technical expertise in one or more areas relating to substation engineering including outdoor design, data systems, protection and control, etc. to the Substation Design organization.

Position Details

This is a 2+ year consultant position with high probability of long term and ongoing continued employment. This position is hybrid with onsite 3 days weekly as needed in Vancouver, Washington.

Compensation

The hourly pay rate range for this position (which includes a health and welfare fringe benefit of $4.93) is $63.00 - $69.00 depending on related qualifications and experience, as well as composition of selected compensation package.

Minimum Qualifications

The ideal candidate must possess the minimum qualifications:

• A Bachelor\'s Degree in Electrical Engineering or other closely related Engineering field is required.
• With an applicable Bachelor\'s degree, 10 years of experience is required.
• Experience should include engineering design development closely related to some or all the following (High Voltage Substation, Telecommunication system or high voltage transmission line systems).
• 3 years working knowledge of High voltage systems, System Control, Communications, Relay planning, functional and technical specifications in a typical electric power system.
• Valid U.S. Driver\'s License is required.
