Job summary

SpaceXAI is seeking an Electrical Technician to operate and maintain plant electrical systems at our power generation facility. You will work hands-on with medium-voltage equipment up to 34.8 kV, performing switching, troubleshooting, and repairs in a high-reliability plant environment.

Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, coordination with operators and engineers, and ensuring safety protocols such as LOTO and arc-flash practices.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 3+ years as electrical technician or industrial electrician maintaining industrial or power generation systems.
• Journeyman license or equivalent training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain plant electrical systems up to 13.5 kV and 34.8 kV.
• Perform switching, isolation, LOTO, and racking of breakers per NFPA 70E.
• Troubleshoot faults on distribution, protection, grounding, and lighting systems.
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance to improve reliability.
• Support startups, shutdowns, outages, and commissioning activities.
• Install, terminate, and maintain equipment wiring as required.
• Respond to alarms and investigate root causes for corrective actions.
• Coordinate with operations and engineering for safe switching and work.
