Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a Medium Voltage Electrician to support installation, inspection, testing, maintenance and repair of electrical equipment in substations and power grid facilities. Initial work covers energized up to 260 volts, then higher voltages after training.

You will assist higher-classified personnel and learn in a safety-focused environment. Responsibilities include installing and maintaining equipment, reading drawings, performing basic tests, and documenting results.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency.
• 3+ years of experience working as a licensed electrician.
• Preferred associate degree in electrical/maintenance technology.
• Ability to read basic prints and use common test tools.

Responsibilities

• Assist in installing, inspecting, maintaining, and repairing substation equipment.
• Perform basic routine maintenance on high- and medium-voltage systems.
• Conduct entry-level electrical testing with standard instruments.
• Read diagrams and work orders with guidance.
• Follow safety protocols and PPE requirements.
