Job summary

SpaceX seeks a Plant Technician to support day-to-day operations, maintenance, and troubleshooting at our power generation facility. Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency certificate.
• 3+ years hands-on experience with industrial mechanical, electrical, and/or control systems.
• Experience writing and executing MOPs, SOPs, and EOPs.
• Experience troubleshooting industrial equipment including PLC/HMI/SCADA platforms.

Responsibilities

• Provide operational and maintenance support for plant mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and process systems.
• Perform daily inspections of critical systems and self-report issues.
• Troubleshoot and repair operational issues in plant operations, start-up, outages, or commissioning.
• Adjust, repair, or replace faulty components in mechanical/electrical/controls.
• Support plant control systems including PLC, HMI, SCADA; assist with safety systems.
• Read and interpret P&IDs, schematics, data sheets, and equipment docs.
• Coordinate with operations and engineering to restore equipment and keep the plant running.
