Job summary

T1 Energy Inc. is seeking a technical lead for troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of plant electrical systems. The role includes hands-on training and guidance to junior technicians and maintenance staff to uphold high safety and reliability standards.

You will assess conditions and proactively recommend upgrades, participate in small capital projects, and oversee vendors to ensure compliance with T1 Energy policies and codes.

Qualifications

• Solid understanding of NFPA, NEC, and OSHA standards.
• Ability to analyze and interpret single-line diagrams, technical blueprints, and specifications.
• Experience working in renewable energy, manufacturing, or cleanroom environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of plant electrical systems.
• Provide hands-on training to junior technicians and maintenance staff.
• Assess facility and equipment conditions and recommend upgrades and preventive strategies.
• Support small capital improvement and O&M projects.
• Oversee external vendors to ensure compliance with policies, OSHA standards, and local/federal codes.
• Perform electrical wiring, testing, inspections, and maintenance of environmental and life safety systems.
• Read and interpret diagrams, schematics, and manuals to diagnose issues.
• Troubleshoot simple AC circuits and replace blown fuses.
• Systematically perform power recovery of the building.
• Operate, maintain, tests, and repairs of mechanical, electrical and controls equipment.
