Qualifications

• Must hold a BSEE in Electrical Engineering; MSEE preferred.
• Strong fundamentals in electrical engineering are required.
• Experience in electrical system product development is needed.
• Excellent analytical and problem solving abilities.
• Clear written and spoken communication across teams.
• Solid understanding of power systems and control concepts is a plus.
• Hands-on lab experience or industry design exposure is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Assist senior engineers in research, design, development, and test of electrical systems for distributed energy resources.
• Design subsystems for new product lines and suggest improvements under guidance.
• Provide technical support to analyze design, process, production and field issues.
• Conduct test programs to evaluate performance of products.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design new electrical products.
• Perform root cause analysis on field-returned components.
• Implement design changes with manufacturing, installation and service teams.
