Bloom Energy is seeking a Principal Electrical Engineer to join our team in San Jose, CA or Newark, DE or Houston, TX. This on-site role reports to the Senior Manager, Electrical Design Engineering and requires leadership across electrical design, codes, and microgrid integration.

The role emphasizes development of installation packages, operator sequences, and engineering of record responsibilities, with deep knowledge in low- and high-voltage systems and EPC collaboration.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related field.
• Active Professional Engineer license in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
• Strong knowledge of low- and medium-voltage systems and grid-interconnection requirements.
• Experience with power-system studies using ETAP/SKM/EasyPower or equivalent.

Responsabilidades

• Lead development and review of electrical installation packages per NEC and local codes.
• Create installation packages detailing fuel cell installations at customer facilities.
• Provide technical support with 3rd party microgrid controllers.
• Develop sequences of operations for utility-parallel and island operation.
• Mentor engineers and coordinate with remote teams on AutoCAD deliverables.
