Job summary

SANY Group in Atlanta, USA seeks an electrical design engineer for low-voltage systems on large loaders. You will drive scheme design, architecture planning, wiring harness layout, and component selection, interfacing with ECUs and CAN networks to meet safety and EMC requirements.

You will also prepare technical specs, BOMs, and testing plans, participate in PPAP, prototype bench testing, and mine-condition validation, and troubleshoot faults to ensure reliable operation in harsh environments.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for scheme design, overall architecture planning, schematic design and review of the complete-machine low-voltage electrical system for large loaders.
• Complete low-voltage wiring harness layout and electrical component selection; compile component technical specifications and BOM lists.
• Develop vehicle grounding and shielding schemes, comply with electrical safety requirements for mining equipment, and support EMC design.
• Interface with VCU, motor controllers and other ECUs, sort out wiring interfaces, and assist in developing CAN communication signal lists.
• Prepare electrical system technical requirements, assembly specifications and test plans; track component development and support PPAP technical documentation.
• Take part in prototype bench commissioning, vehicle debugging and mine industrial tests; independently troubleshoot electrical faults and drive full closed-loop rectification.
• Participate in 整机 FMEA and competitor benchmarking; identify failure modes under severe mine conditions: strong vibration, high dust and wide temperature range, and continuously improve electrical system reliability.
