SANY Group in Atlanta, GA seeks an engineer to lead engine mounting designs for large-tonnage mining loaders, ensuring seamless interfaces with the frame, cooling system, electric drivetrain and cab.

You will coordinate with thermal, electrical and hydraulic teams, oversee prototype manufacture and testing, and drive issue resolution to closure, while optimizing for hybrid operation and PPAP documentation.

• Experience in engine mounting and 3D layout for heavy equipment.
• Ability to produce detailed drawings and interface specifications.
• Strong collaboration across mechanical, thermal, electrical and hydraulic teams.

• Select engine mounts and lead overall fuel system development.

Description du poste

• Responsible for scheme design, 3D layout and drawing delivery of engine mounting arrangement, mounting system, intake system, exhaust system and fuel system for large-tonnage mining loaders, and complete interface matching with frame, cooling system, electric drivetrain system and cab.
• Conduct selection and layout design of engine mounts and overall development of fuel systems.
• Collaborate with thermal management engineers on cooling system interface matching, coordinate with system integration, electronic control and hydraulic teams for machine spatial arrangement, and identify and resolve layout interferences.
• Follow up prototype manufacturing, assembly commissioning, bench tests and mine industrial tests, resolve on-site product issues and drive rectification to full closure.
• Participate in competitor benchmarking and FMEA failure analysis; liaise with component suppliers for technical briefing and sample verification, and support delivery of PPAP technical documents.
• Optimize engine mounting boundaries and fuel system operating condition adaptation according to operating characteristics of hybrid models, to meet the variable-condition operation requirements of engines under hybrid modes.
