Job summary

Neros Technologies in Torrance, CA, is seeking a Sr. Supplier Industrialization Engineer (Electrical) to join the growing Supply Chain team and drive supplier development, NPIs, and production ramp-up.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of manufacturing, process or supply chain engineering experience.
• 5+ years of experience with PCB assembly, mechanical assemblies or electronic assemblies manufacturing.
• Proven track record of taking ownership and driving results.
• Knowledge of supplier quality processes (PPAP, APQP, FMEA, etc.).
• Experience with quality systems (ISO 9000/TS/AS9100/NADCAP).
• Knowledge of statistical techniques and methods (DOE, Six Sigma).

Responsibilities

• Design for Manufacturing and manufacturability feedback to enable high-volume production.
• Develop and optimize process flows with critical control points and risks.
• Conduct capacity assessments at supplier sites for NPI and mass production ramps.
• Collaborate with design to understand part, assembly, or sub-system design intent.
• Source parts with supplier capabilities and assess manufacturing processes and quality systems.
• Lead liaison between purchasing, engineering, manufacturing and suppliers to resolve quality issues.
• Define supplier technical and quality requirements for NPI and production phases.
• Create and implement a PPAP with selected suppliers to enable rate production.
• Develop and approve process controls for critical characteristics.
• Analyze supplier quality and delivery metrics to identify trends and drive improvements.
