Job summary

ADM Cedar Rapids, IA is seeking a CoGeneration Power Plant Operator to safely run material handling systems, monitor instrumentation, and perform routine maintenance. The role requires troubleshooting, data entry, and adherence to safety standards in a fast-paced production environment.

You will operate heavy equipment, participate in GMP, and support unloading/loading operations while ensuring quality and environmental compliance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Must be 18 years or older and able to work in the United States.
• English communication skills (verbal and written) required.
• Experience in industrial or mechanical environments preferred.
• Experience operating heavy machinery is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate material handling systems safely and efficiently.
• Unloading coal/line material and loading ash trucks, verifying weights.
• Operate rail locomotives, skid steers, and boom lifts as needed.
• Collect samples, run tests, enter results, and analyze data.
• Follow ESLPLockout/Tagout and GMP routines for safety and cleanliness.
• Perform routine maintenance and basic preventive checks on equipment.
• Commit to safety policies and collaborate with team leadership.
