Job summary

Contractor Network seeks an experienced Electrical Superintendent in Durham, NC to own field responsibility and drive safe, efficient project execution for commercial and industrial electrical construction. You will lead field teams, coordinate with project management and trade partners, and ensure timely progress and quality.

The role emphasizes hands-on leadership, clash resolution, and adherence to safety standards, with opportunities for professional growth within a dynamic contracting

Qualifications

• 5–12+ years of electrical construction field leadership experience.
• Ability to read drawings, specs and schedules.
• Working knowledge of the National Electrical Code and jobsite safety.
• Strong planning, communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead field execution and coordinate daily electrical work with PMs and trade partners.
• Plan manpower, material, equipment, access, and sequencing.
• Review drawings, RFIs, submittals, and look-ahead schedules.
• Track labor productivity, progress, constraints, and milestones.
• Promote safe work practices and enforce safety requirements.
• Coordinate inspections, testing, commissioning, punch-list, and closeout.
• Identify constructability issues and communicate solutions.
• Develop foremen and field leaders and maintain installation standards.
