Job summary

CoVolt Power is seeking an experienced Electrical Superintendent for a field-based project. You will lead the electrical team, supervise subcontractors, and ensure construction aligns with the owner’s contract and approved drawings.

Responsibilities include monitoring progress, coordinating materials, and maintaining a strong safety culture on site while working with the project management team to resolve issues and keep the project on track.

Qualifications

• Electrical Engineering degree or equivalent experience.
• Strong knowledge of NEC standards and safety practices.
• Ability to interpret construction drawings and identify discrepancies.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor the team of electrical superintendents.
• Supervise and coordinate activities to keep the project schedule.
• Track progress and report to project team and owner.
• Review engineering drawings for compliance with design.
• Coordinate material delivery and tracking with vendors.
• Promote a safety-focused culture on site and with subcontractors.
• Evaluate and sign off on permits (excavation, hot work, etc.).
• Review installation, testing, LOTO procedures to ensure safety.
