Job summary

Black & Veatch is seeking an Electrical Project Engineer for high-voltage substations, including 765kV projects. You will lead technical work, coordinate with clients and vendors, and support design, budgeting, and scheduling.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering from a recognized program.
• Minimum of 5 years related work experience.
• All applicants must be able to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements.

Responsibilities

• Function as Technical Specialist or Project Lead on substation projects.
• Support substation projects up to 765kV in engineering, EPC.
• Develop protection and control design deliverables and diagrams.
• Develop physical design deliverables including yard layouts and power systems.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
• Prepare equipment specs and BOMs for procurement and construction.
