Job summary

The Toro Company (BOSS Snowplow) in Iron Mountain, MI is seeking a student co-op for January 2027 through August 2027 to assist with design, prototyping, and testing of electronic circuits for new products and improvements to existing products.

You will work with design engineers to create test fixtures, conduct tests, and analyze data while pursuing a BS in Electrical Engineering with emphasis in electronic circuit design.

Qualifications

• Experience in test fixture design.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills.
• Strong leadership to lead a team and pull information from others.
• Problem solving skills.
• Proficient with MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and Orcad.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize.
• Pursuing a B.S. in Electrical Engineering with emphasis in electronic circuit design.
• Experience with Orcad and 3D modeling software is a plus.

What Will You Do?

• Assist with design, prototyping, and testing of electronic circuits for new products and improvements to existing products

What Do You Need?

To be considered for this role, an individual should meet the following minimal requirements:

• Experience in test fixture design
• Strong analytical and organizational skills
• Strong leadership skills to lead a team and pull information from others

• Demonstrated computer skills including MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and Orcad
• Ability to take on multiple responsibilities/projects at once
• Prioritize based on due dates or importance of projects
• Pursuing a B.S. Degree in Electrical Engineering with emphasis in electronic circuit design or related field
• Experience with Orcad and 3D modeling software is a plus
