Job summary

BOSS Snowplow, a division of The Toro Company, in Iron Mountain, MI, offers a co-op January 2027 through August 2027. You will assist with design, prototyping, and testing of electronic circuits, design fixtures for testing, and analyze data to improve products.

Ideal candidates are pursuing a BS in Electrical Engineering with emphasis in circuit design, with Orcad experience, 3D modeling skills, and strong problem-solving abilities. Leadership and multitasking are valued.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a B.S. in Electrical Engineering with emphasis in electronic circuit design.
• Ability to take on multiple responsibilities/projects at once.
• Experience with Orcad and 3D modeling software is a plus.
• Strong computer skills: Word, Excel, Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Assist with design, prototyping, and testing of electronic circuits for new products
• Design fixtures for electrical and software development testing
• Conduct tests and analyze data for new or existing products
• Recognize and help with problem solving efforts in the Electronics Lab
• Recognize and help with problem solving efforts on plant test fixtures (hardware & software)
• Create methods for standard work procedures
• Work with design engineers to reduce costs and improve quality
