Job summary

The Toro Company is seeking a Marketing Communications Intern to support the BOSS Snowplow Marketing team across digital, social, web, email, and other channels. The role provides hands‑on experience in content creation, digital marketing, brand communications, and project coordination.

The ideal candidate is a creative, organized self‑starter pursuing a bachelor's degree in Marketing or related fields, with strong communication skills and familiarity with social media and marketing tools.

Responsibilities

  • Support social media content creation, scheduling, and publishing.
  • Assist with website, email, and digital marketing communications.
  • Create and edit marketing copy and content.
  • Support marketing campaigns, product launches, events, and promotions.
  • Assist with content calendars, project coordination, and reporting.
  • Help maintain BOSS brand standards and digital assets.

Job description

The 2027 Summer Internship Program will run from May 17, 2027, through August 6, 2027. Candidates must be available to start on May 17 and participate through the duration of the program.

What Will You Do?

The Marketing Communications Intern will support the BOSS Snowplow Marketing team across digital, social, web, email, and other owned channels.

This role provides hands‑on experience in content creation, digital marketing, brand communications, campaign support, and marketing project coordination.

The ideal candidate is a creative, organized, and curious self‑starter who enjoys working across multiple projects and is interested in gaining real‑world experience in a fast‑paced marketing environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support social media content creation, scheduling, and publishing.
  • Assist with website, email, and digital marketing communications.
  • Create and edit marketing copy and content.
  • Support marketing campaigns, product launches, events, and promotions.
  • Assist with content calendars, project coordination, and reporting.
  • Help maintain BOSS brand standards and digital assets.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, agencies, and creative partners.
  • Research trends and contribute new ideas to strengthen BOSS marketing.

What Do You Need?

We require interns to be enrolled in an educational program during the duration of the internship program.

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Advertising, Digital Marketing, or a related field.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and proofreading skills.
  • Comfortable working across multiple projects and managing competing priorities.
  • Creative thinker with an interest in content creation and brand storytelling.
  • Familiarity with social media platforms and digital marketing concepts.
  • Basic understanding of marketing analytics and performance metrics.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, or similar productivity tools.
  • Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively with a team.
  • Willingness to learn new marketing platforms, tools, and processes.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous internship, coursework, campus organization, or personal experience involving marketing, communications, social media, or content creation.
  • Experience creating content for social media platforms.
  • Familiarity with email marketing or CRM platforms.
  • Experience with website content management systems.
  • Basic knowledge of SEO and digital marketing analytics.
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud, Canva, or other creative tools.
  • Photography, videography, graphic design, or video editing experience is a plus.
