Job summary

Gaylor Electric is seeking a qualified journeyman electrician to lead and perform installations, alterations, and repairs across residential, commercial, and industrial electrical systems. You will troubleshoot, read blueprints, and install wiring and terminations up to 600 volts with emphasis on safety and quality.

The role requires OSHA compliance, use of appropriate hand tools, platform/boom lift operation certification, and the ability to work at heights.

Qualifications

• Must have progressed through an accredited apprenticeship or six years of on‑the‑job experience.
• Able to read and interpret electrical drawings, blueprints and schematics.
• Capable of wiring, terminations up to 600 volts, and conduit installation with safety compliance.

Responsibilities

• Reports to the designated job site location on time and prepared.
• Organizes materials and uses tools safely to complete installations and terminations.
• Interprets drawings, terminates cables, installs control wiring from schematics, and trains helpers.
