Job summary

Willard West Heating and Coolin is seeking an electrician to perform residential service and installation work. You’ll work independently yet enjoy collaborating with a team to solve problems and keep customers informed during stressful times.

The role emphasizes safety, adherence to local codes, and excellent customer service. You’ll troubleshoot, install, and upgrade electrical systems and HVAC equipment, maintain truck inventory, and document work using an iPad.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of residential electrical work experience.
• Journeyman License or ability to obtain within 6 months.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to provide repair versus replacement options to customers.
• Knowledgeable and skilled in the safe use and maintenance of required tools.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Clean driving record.
• Basic computer skills; ability to use an iPad to document work.
• Ability to read, write and speak English fluently.

Responsibilities

• Service, install, reconnect, and upgrade electrical systems and HVAC equipment, and water heaters.
• Analyze work orders, follow a daily travel schedule, listen to customer concerns, perform designated work, and proactively solve problems.
• Maintain truck inventory.
• Troubleshoot & diagnose residential electrical issues.
• Provide excellent customer service to customers.
• Adhere to local and state codes.
• Install and maintain wiring, control, and lighting systems.
• Identify, repair, or replace wiring, equipment, or fixtures using testing devices and tools.

Essential Job Functions

Compensation & Hours

• Commission Pay based on experience
• Hours: 7:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. (flexible start and end times depending on business needs)
• Days: Friday, Saturday, Sunday
