Job summary

Willard Cooling, Heating, Plumbing, and Electrical in Texas is seeking an Electrician for residential service and install work. You’ll work independently and with a team, communicating clearly with customers, especially when addressing concerns or emergencies.

This role emphasizes safety, reliability, and providing options to customers while meeting scheduling needs and maintaining professional workmanship.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in residential electrical work.
• Journeyman License or ability to obtain within 6 months.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to explain repair vs. replacement options to customers.
• Knowledgeable in safe use and maintenance of required tools.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Clean driving record.
• Basic computer skills; ability to use an iPad to document work.
• Ability to speak, read, and write in English fluently.

Responsibilities

• Service, install, reconnect and upgrade electrical systems as well as heating and air conditioning equipment and water heaters.
• Assist customers by analyzing work orders, following a daily travel schedule, listening to concerns, performing designated work, and proactively solving problems.
• Maintain truck inventory and equipment.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose residential electrical issues.
• Provide excellent customer service and communicate clearly with customers.
• Adhere to local and state codes and standards.

Required Qualifications

• Commission Pay based on experience


• Hours: 7:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. (flexible start and end times depending on business needs)
