Job summary

Island-Airco, Inc. is hiring an Electrician to diagnose, repair, and maintain electrical systems for homeowners.

You will combine electrical expertise with sales to identify upgrade opportunities and close service or equipment installations that meet customer needs. You will work closely with dispatch and the sales team, build trust with clients, and pursue new business through referrals while maintaining high technical service standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 3+ years of Electrical Service experience is required.
• 1+ years of direct-to-homeowner sales experience is required.
• Electrical License or ability to obtain within 60 days is required.
• Strong sales, customer service and closing skills are required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required.
• Assertive and confident personality with the ability to work independently.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and schedule flexibility; may include evenings and weekends.
• Fluency in English (read, write, speak) is required.

Essential Job Functions

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, andmaintainelectricalsystems

• Identifyand present electrical products and service recommendations based on customer needs and system analysis. Close sales for system upgrades, new equipment installations, and preventative maintenance plans.

• Establish rapport and trust with customers by offering tailored solutions, handling objections with professionalism, and providing clear, honest advice.

• Generate new business opportunities through customer referrals, follow-ups, and actively seeking potential service or upgrade opportunities while on the job.

• Work closely with our dispatch and sales teams to ensuretimelyscheduling and seamless follow-up on leads or job opportunities.

• Meet and exceed personal sales goals whilemaintaininghigh standardsof technical service.

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED Equivalent

• 3+ years ofElectricalService experience

• 1+ years of proven success in selling direct to homeowners via in-home presentation
• Electrical License or able to obtain within 60 days

• Strong sales, customer service, and closing skills

• Exceptional communication/interpersonal skills

• Assertive and confident personality

• Ability to exercise independent judgment and makeappropriate decisions

• Ability to organize and manage multiple tasks accurately

Compensation & Hours

• Pay: Hourly + Commission

• Hours: 7:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. (flexible start and end times depending on business needs)

• Days: Monday - Friday with occasional weekends
