Job summary

GPAC is seeking an experienced Electrical Service Manager for a well-established local contractor in Maryland's Mount Airy area. The role focuses on leading service work for local commercial and industrial projects with limited travel.

You will supervise the service team, coordinate calls, estimates, safety, and customer relations, and grow the local backlog while sustaining high quality work and on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• Previous Electrical Service Manager, Service Project Manager, or similar experience.
• Strong commercial and/or industrial electrical background.
• Ability to lead technicians and manage multiple service jobs.
• Strong customer-facing communication skills.

• Lead and manage the electrical service team.
• Oversee service calls, small projects, and special projects from start to finish.
• Coordinate scheduling, manpower, materials, and equipment.
• Maintain strong customer relationships and respond to service needs.
• Work closely with Project Managers, Superintendents, and company leadership.
• Ensure service work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard of quality.
• Support estimating and quoting for service and small project work.
• Troubleshoot field issues and help develop solutions.
• Monitor service backlog and keep work moving.
• Train and mentor service technicians as needed.
