Job summary

Pacific Aire, a home services company based in Oxnard, CA, is seeking an Electrical Service Manager to lead the residential electrical department. You will recruit, coach, and grow electricians and apprentices while driving revenue, safety, and customer satisfaction.

You will oversee pricing, compliance with NEC/Title 24, permits, and inspections, and collaborate with HVAC and plumbing teams on cross-trade opportunities. This full-time role is based in Oxnard, CA.

Qualifications

• California General Electrician certification (DIR) or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years of residential electrical experience including service and troubleshooting.
• 3+ years leading or supervising field technicians.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, hire, onboard, and retain electricians and apprentices.
• Lead daily huddles and weekly trainings on technical skills, safety, and customer communication.
• Own the electrical department's revenue, gross margin, and labor efficiency targets.
• Track KPIs: average ticket, conversion rate, callbacks, memberships, and reviews.
• Partner with call center and dispatch to balance workload and maximize booked capacity.
• Build and maintain flat-rate pricing and service offerings (panel upgrades, EV chargers, surge protection, generators, lighting, rewiring).
• Ensure work meets NEC, Title 24, and local code requirements; manage permits and inspections.
• Enforce Cal/OSHA safety standards, PPE use, and lockout/tagout.
• Audit completed jobs and lead root-cause reviews on callbacks.
• Resolve escalated customer concerns professionally and promptly; coach technicians to present options.
• Manage truck stock, inventory, tools, and vehicle maintenance; explore cross-trade opportunities.
