The ideal candidate has an associate degree or equivalent experience, 2+ years in distribution operations, strong analytical skills, and proficiency with Windows-based systems.

Qualifications

  • Associate degree in engineering technology or equivalent high school diploma with experience.
  • Progression through work scheduling assistant job family or 2+ years in distribution operations.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills; ability to prioritize work.
  • Proficiency in Windows-based computer systems; ability to learn new/complex systems.
  • Knowledge of DWMS, SPECTRUM, and MACSS/OPS preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Characterize new Customer Work Requests with electrical load and energy requirements.
  • Provide technical knowledge and consultation on service design requirements and company policies.
  • Coordinate with Customers, Supervisors, Inspectors, and field crews to meet prerequisites.
  • Coordinate with Engineers, Supervisors, and Metering to meet deadlines.
  • Negotiate schedules with Supervisors and Customers to adjust for workload or weather.
  • Assist in scheduling planned Customer Service outages.
