American Electric Power (AEP) in Dublin, OH is seeking a Work Scheduling Assistant to manage the scheduling and coordination of all engineered and non-engineered jobs for the distribution line and service workforce. This role uses work management systems to ensure timely and efficient completion of jobs with optimized resource use.
The position requires an Associate degree in engineering technology or a high school diploma with relevant experience, plus 2+ years in distribution operations.
You will be responsible for providing assistance in performing duties assigned in the work scheduling process in an area office including the scheduling and coordination of all engineered and non-engineered jobs for the distribution line and service work force. The job will combine the available personnel and equipment resources to assure that the jobs are completed timely and efficiently using the work management systems applications.
