Job summary

The Nuclear Company is seeking an Electrical Sales Engineer to develop and grow business across nuclear and industrial markets. You will provide technical sales support for electrical maintenance, testing, installation, and outage services, partnering with plant leadership and engineering teams to deliver tailored solutions that improve reliability and safety.

Hybrid role requiring strong communication, field experience, and the ability to travel up to 50% to customer sites and outages.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 3-5+ years in technical sales or related role.
• Strong working knowledge of industrial electrical systems.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and diagrams.
• Experience developing technical proposals and cost estimates.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship skills.
• Willingness to perform hands-on electrical field work during outages.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel up to 50%.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with utility customers, plant personnel, engineering organizations, and partners.
• Identify new business opportunities within existing accounts and target new customers.
• Maintain a sales pipeline and provide accurate forecasting through CRM tools.
• Support contract negotiations while maintaining profitability and customer satisfaction.
• Translate customer requirements into technical solutions, proposals, and scopes of work.
• Coordinate with Operations and field teams to ensure successful project execution.
