Job summary

IB Abel INC. is seeking a Safety & Quality Coordinator to analyze and develop safety plans, conduct risk assessments, and lead field teams on electrical service projects.

The role focuses on safety leadership, pre-job briefings, and maintaining up-to-date training certifications. Ideal candidates will have a Journeyman license or a Bachelor's degree with 5+ years in safety, OSHA certifications, and proficiency with MS Office and MS Project.

Qualifications

• Electrical Journeyman license or Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) with 5+ years of safety-related experience.
• Previous instructor training or instructor certifications preferred.
• OSHA 10, 30, 500 training, plus OSHA development training.
• CSP, CUSP or similar safety certification preferred.
• Confined Space Entry Trainer and CPR/First Aid Instructor desirable.
• Proficient in MS Office with strong Excel, Word, and MS Project skills.
• Local to Pennsylvania with willingness to travel to other offices, facilities, jobsites and yards.

Responsibilities

• Safety & Quality Planning and Compliance - review contract documents to understand safety/quality requirements; facilitate Site-Specific Safety Plan reviews; attend pre-construction meetings and provide safety/quality guidance.
• Documentation and Record Management - upload Safety & Quality documents to SharePoint or server; maintain organized records for compliance and communication.
• Communication, Coaching and Collaboration - convey safety requirements to project teams; participate in project meetings representing the company.
• Continuous Improvement and Professional Development - stay current on industry standards; pursue certifications and training.
