Job summary

IB Abel Inc. in Pennsylvania is seeking a Safety & Quality Coordinator to develop safety plans, perform risk assessments, and lead pre-job briefings for electrical projects. This role ensures training certifications are current and supports field teams with safety leadership.

Responsibilities include documentation, compliance reviews, coaching teams, and ongoing professional development to align with industry standards. Occasional travel to job sites is expected.

Qualifications

• Electrical Journeyman or Bachelor's degree with 5+ years safety experience.
• Prior instructor training or certifications preferred.
• OSHA 10, 30, 500 and related safety certifications preferred.
• Proficient in MS Office with strong Excel, Word, and MS Project skills.

Responsibilities

• Safety & Quality Planning and Compliance – review project docs and preconstruction planning and provide guidance.
• Documentation and Record Management – upload safety/quality docs and maintain records.
• Communication, Coaching and Collaboration – convey safety requirements and represent company in meetings.
• Continuous Improvement – stay current with industry standards and pursue certifications.

Education

Electrical Journeyman classification, or Bachelor's degree (B.A.) or equivalent with 5+ years safety experience
