Job summary

IB Abel is seeking a Safety & Quality Coordinator to analyze and develop safety plans, risk assessments and pre-job briefings, while ensuring training certifications remain current. The role involves field collaboration to provide safety leadership for electrical service projects.

The ideal candidate has an Electrical Journeyman qualification or a Bachelor's degree with 5 years of safety experience, OSHA training, and proficiency in MS Office tools.

Qualifications

• Electrical Journeyman qualification or Bachelor's degree with 5 years of safety experience.
• OSHA 10, 30, 500 training is required.
• CSP, CUSP or related safety certification preferred.
• Confined Space Entry Trainer and CPR/First Aid Instructor desirable.
• Proficient in MS Office applications with strong skills in Excel, Word, and MS Project.

Responsibilities

• Safety & Quality Planning and Compliance on projects; review contract docs and ensure pre-construction safety and quality planning.
• Documentation and Record Management; upload safety/quality documents to SharePoint and maintain records for compliance.
• Communication, Coaching and Collaboration; convey safety requirements to project teams and represent the company in meetings.
• Continuous Improvement and Professional Development; stay current on industry standards and pursue relevant certifications.
