Job summary

IB Abel is seeking an Associate Electrical Engineer to perform design and coordination for electrical power distribution and lighting on commercial, industrial, and government projects.

You will develop engineering designs, perform calculations, and support field crews and project teams from design through construction, with opportunities for professional growth and hands-on learning through our Associate's Program.

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology.
• 0–2 years in electrical engineering focusing on power systems.
• EIT preferred or ability to obtain EIT.

Responsibilities

• Design electrical power distribution, lighting, and related systems for commercial/industrial/government projects.
• Prepare technical specs and assist in submittals, product data, and shop drawings.
• Coordinate with other disciplines and with utilities; support estimators and project managers.
