Job summary

AtlasIED in Phoenix, AZ seeks a Production Repair Technician to support the Manufacturing Department. The role focuses on electrical troubleshooting, testing computer-controlled hardware, and documenting findings to ensure ISO-compliant quality.

On-site five days a week with no remote option. Ideal candidates will have strong analytical and communication skills, be self-motivated, and ready to meet production goals.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or higher in electronics or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of three years' experience with software/hardware testing.
• Minimum of three years' experience with electrical troubleshooting in a factory.
• Minimum of three years' experience troubleshooting and debugging computer-controlled hardware.
• Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics and interpret test equipment.
• Soldering/de-soldering both surface mount and through-hole components.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced troubleshooting of analog and digital modules, calibration and testing of circuits and assemblies.
• Analyze in-process failures for root cause and suggest QA test procedures.
• Rework boards using hot air, lead-free soldering, fine pitch, reflow and standard techniques.
• Train others on defects and repairs.
• Follow documented work instructions and standards.
• Support production goals and participate in wave/other soldering.
• Record testing data and maintain parts inventory and documentation.
• Read wiring diagrams and engineering instructions for electronics assembly.
• Assist engineering with prototype builds and implement corrective actions.
