Job summary

Phoenix Contact is seeking a Test Technician I to support testing, validation and evaluation of cable assemblies within the Product Solutions Department. You will document results, assist with product evaluations, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure hardware meets quality and customer requirements.

The role emphasizes safe operation of test equipment, lab maintenance, and execution of testing protocols in an in-office setting.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Electronics Technology or related field.
• 1–3 years electronic testing, manufacturing or quality experience preferred.
• Experience in electronics manufacturing environments.

Responsibilities

• Perform Electrical, Mechanical and Environmental testing of cable assemblies.
• Create accurate technical reports and test records.
• Maintain lab equipment and ensure calibration.
• Assist Quality, Engineering and Production on issues related to cable assemblies.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality standards, procedures, and policies.
• Construct test fixtures and control cabinet prototypes.
• Occasional production work in various areas.
