Job summary

MiTek Corporation in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Production Repair Technician to support our Manufacturing Department. The role focuses on electrical troubleshooting, testing, and documentation to ensure products meet ISO quality standards.

This on-site position requires an Associate’s degree in electronics and at least three years of experience in electronics testing, troubleshooting and board repair, including soldering of SMT and through-hole components.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or higher in electronics is required or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of three years’ experience with software/hardware testing and electrical troubleshooting in a factory setting.
• Experience troubleshooting and debugging computer-controlled hardware and repairing boards with soldering techniques.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced troubleshooting of analog/digital modules and devices, including setup, calibration, testing and troubleshooting of circuits and assemblies.
• Review in-process failures to identify root causes and suggest QA test procedures to prevent recurrence.
• Rework boards using hot air rework, lead-free soldering, fine-pitch soldering, reflow soldering, and standard soldering techniques.
• Train teammates on defects and repairs and follow written work instructions and standards.
• Support production goals and assist engineering with prototype builds and documentation.
