Job summary

Electra USA, a leading electromechanical contractor in New York, seeks a Project Manager to oversee electrical division projects from planning through closeout. You will manage budgets, schedules, submittals, RFIs, change orders, and client communications to ensure successful delivery.

The role requires strong organization, communication, and the ability to lead cross-functional teams across engineering, CAD, and field personnel. Travel to worksites may be required.

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 5 years of construction project management in electrical contracting.
• Must be well organized and a strong communicator.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong document control and scheduling software skills; MS Office.
• Knowledge of Procore, Vista, Primavera P6, AutoCAD and Microstation preferred.
• Willingness to travel to worksites as needed.

Responsibilities

• Deliver projects on-time, within scope and within budget.
• Develop project scopes, objectives, and detailed plans.
• Ensure resource availability and allocation.
• Track progress with a detailed project plan.
• Manage scope, schedule and cost changes with verification techniques.
• Measure performance with appropriate systems and tools.
• Provide management with timely reports and escalations.
• Maintain client relationships and manage subcontracts.
• Perform risk management and safety documentation.
• Create and maintain project documentation and submittals.
